Nails of the week- El Salonisto Inspired
Easy as this week, although I don't take credit for the design which comes from http://elsalonsito.com/. On this site there is also a fantastic photo tutorial although this is extremely simple and doesn't require any skill or special tools!! I mixed mine up a bit by adding the half moons at the top but they could be left out if desired.

Pink Friday-What's that on your fingers??
Lovin' these geometric inspired shapes on my finger-lingers!! These again took ages but the effect is so amaze that it is worth it!! It's just a shame the gold, silvery colour didn't show up on the camera.

Nails of the Week- Galaxy Nails
These too are seen on many nails blogs and sites and have been done in a variety of ways by many people, but to me these are the most realistic looking style and they create a look which is very simple but effective.
1. Paint nails a dark colour, I have used a deep, deep blue, almost black but black will work, as will purple.
2. Using a piece of a make-up sponge, torn off and held between tweezers, dab on in streaks a brighter blue a pinky purple, and a pale yellow, make sure these colours are all very close together as if part of the same ermmm nebula?
3. Dot on using a toothpick white dots to form stars, make some bigger and some smaller.
4. Topcoat.

These next ones were a little experiment of mine, my own version of Jennifer Mather's cover look for Nails Magazine. Obvioulsy mine are not acrylic nails nor did I use shellac but I managed to achieve the same effect or a good one anyway but with different coulours! I really like these will deffo do again, they looked like jewels!!!Difficulty: 4/10

Nails of the Week- Valentines #4
This weeks inspiration comes from love heart sweets, the pastel colours and messages which more often than not are less lovely and more erm.. odd but they always are sure to cause a smile! I am not too pleased with how these turned out though, the writing was difficult to do on such a small surface and the heart outline was the wrong shape for my nails, but oh well. I do find that with most of my nail looks, they do take some practice and some tweaking to look right.

Nails of the Week- Vampytines Day?
A break from the sugary pink and red stuff you see at this time of year, to something more edgy. This was done with black studs which I found on amazon and I just stick them on with my topcoat.

Nails of the Week- Valentines #2
These remind me of Alice in Wonderland, I think it is the colours, anyway they were a cute valentines day alternative to lots of pink and red. To do the hearts, first I painted the hearts on in red using an artist brush, and then on top of that I painted a medium pink just inside of the red, to create a red line. then using the finest dotting tool I possess I did the white dots.

Doing Jade and Chloe's Nails
After tonight's paella night with some girls from my Spanish class I did some cute nail designs;Flamingoes in love for Jade and starry blues for Chloe. The flamingo fingers are a nice idea for Valentines day but the starry ones remind me of a Cath Kitson print.
