Pink Friday-What's that on your fingers??
Lovin' these geometric inspired shapes on my finger-lingers!! These again took ages but the effect is so amaze that it is worth it!! It's just a shame the gold, silvery colour didn't show up on the camera.

Pink Friday!- Aztechno
As I trawl the internet looking for inspiration for my digies I have seen these, or something like these many times but I was scared to attempt them as looked really complicated and difficult, but I am pleased to declare that their bark is worse than their bite, if that phrase can be applied here? No, honestly they took a long time because of all the different shapes and colours but that really is all there is to them, just shapes. I really like them and they are pink!
Love this, will deffo do again!! Only thing is you really need a tool, a long haired brush is the only real option, to get straight even thickness lines.

Nails of the Week- Chic Aztec
This was an odd one this week, which really needs a bit of a story to explain but I don't want to bore you so will just say that these just kind of happened. I am not sure if I like all the variations but I do love that they all different which I think makes it quite quirky. Well I like them, the colour combinations especially, and I think I will take the v shaped french manicure reverse ones and do them again. These were also very easy, although I did have to use tape to get the lines straight.
Apologies for the poor picture quality, I forgot to photograph these until when I was out on Monday night, so I took the photos with my phone so the quality is not so good but luckily these are not especially detailed so it doesn't matter.

Doing Emily's Nails
As you can see from the title, I did Emily's (my flatmate at uni) nails. These are really fun and summery which cheered us up in the grey January weather. they also look a bit 70s which is cool if ya like that.
I started off with emily's already orange nails to which I added the white flowers. Each flower also has a pale pink centre which doesn't really show up in the photos though. i then added the black details.

Nails of the Week- Glitter Attack
This week I have been getting into the festive season with glittery sliver and black nails. Okay they don't exactly look Christmassy but there is glitter and I just really love the way it looks like glitter is dripping from my nails as if I just tore into a Unicorn with my bare hands. I cannot take credit for this design though, I saw it on the Illamasqua website as part of their Christmas Gifts section. The Illamasqua colours were Harsh and Boosh Festive Nail Duo but I knew that I had similar colours and I re-created the look with Barry M NP47(Black), although any black will do, Models Own in Champagne as the silvery colour (this colour looks gold in the bottle but comes out more silver) and then I just pressed a silver glitter top coat into it (there are tonnes of these around especially this season) and then two coats of top coat.
This is the Illamasqua Version, it looks great with really round almost pointed nails.
This is my version of the look, as you can see my nails are really short at the moment so the roundness is kinda lost on my nails but the two layers actually make nails look longer.
VARIATION:I have tried this with various colours, my fave was when I did red glitter with black and my 60+ Spanish lecturer, Luis was proper impressed with them! But that looked a bit gory though, go wild use any combinations you like, go subtle with the same shades in matte and glitter, or wild with clashing colours!
